Some things to remember this summer:
1. Each motorized boat will need to have a new HL sticker available for purchase at the lodge for $10 per sticker. These stickers are good for one year. Any motorized watercraft without a sticker will be given a warning and will have 7 days to purchase a sticker. A $100 fine per violation will be the next step if no sticker is purchased for any watercraft in violation. All beach and lake privileges will also be suspended until the matter is resolved. Do not let something as little as a boat sticker snowball into a big problem.
2. Non motorized boats such as canoes, will also need to buy a sticker for $10. This sticker will be valid for 3 years.
3. Any lost or misplaced beach wrist bands that need to be replaced can be purchased for $3 per wrist band at the office.
4. We will be handing out laminated wallet size information cards to every member. On one side has a quick oversight of some of the more common rules of our lake, on the flip side all the required safety equipment for boating. Its a good idea to have this card readily available and visible for any friend or family member that is not familiar with our water that may be operating your watercraft.
